Current Definition Case-Based Design
A problem solving methodology which is used successfully in many disciplines (e.g., in law, medicine, and architectural design) which relies on existing, related cases. DODEs support case-based reasoning by storing designs in a catalog and provide mechanisms for finding relevant cases.
